Sigma Chi - Theta Iota Chapter 2020-21 Executive Board

These members serve as the governing body for the chapter, seeking to advance the interests of the Fraternity, its members, and its community.

The President/Consul serves as the external voice of the chapter. He presides over chapter meetings as well as other Chapter activities outside the ProConsul's domain. He is responsible for the security of our charter, ritual, and individual members as well upholding positive relations with outside organizations and the National Fraternity.

The Risk Manager develops and implements the chapter's safety management/risk prevention programs. He coordinates safety education to the chapter and addresses concerns relating to chapter risks such as building maintenance, alcohol use, drug use, hazing, sexual abuse, etc. He ensures the chapter is aware of and how to follow the Risk Management Crisis Plan.

The Kustos/Ritual Chairman protects the secrecy of our ritual and maintains the the privacy of our chapter room. He also is in charge of planning Initiation and working with the Magister to ensure pledges are properly prepared for initiation along with running the Ritual for Life program.

The Vice President/ProConsul works with the Consul to run chapter meetings and other chapter activities. He maintains the internal affairs of the chapter. He also presides over the Executive Board, Judicial Board, and any other Chair Committee. The ProConsul also fufills any of the duties of the Consul, should the Consul be unfit for his duties.

The Magister/Pledge Educator prepares pledge brother for the ceremonies of Initiation. He guides pledges through the "Preparation for Brotherhood" program and teaches them about the ideals/history of Sigma Chi. The Magister updates the chapter of the pledges' progress and guides the Big Brother Program.

The Quaestor/Treasurer keeps track of all chapter funds, maintains a budget, and is responsible for collecting dues from members

​The Annotator/Secretary keeps accurate records of chapter/executive meetings in addition to chapter files and the permanent record of member data. He is charged with keeping the chapter informed, overseeing voting, and having a deep understanding of our governing bylaws. Lastly, he also oversees the Philanthropy, Community Service, and Social Relations Chairmen.

The Recruitment Chair organizes the Recruitment/Rush process. He provides information about Sigma Chi/fraternities to potential new members (PNMs) and information about PNMs to the chapter. He makes sure chapter members are upholding their obligation of "Recruitment 365."

The Social Chairman organizes social events with other organizations for the chapter and guests to enjoy. He works closely with the University to follow social event policies and maintain the safety/security of chapter members, their guests, and venues.
